LivingFilm ("the app") is a camera application. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. The short version: your photos never leave your device, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything — except one optional purchase.
The app uses the camera to take photos and short motion clips when you press the shutter. All capture, film grading, and compositing happens on your device. Photos are saved to your device's photo library (including a "Living Film" album) only when you choose to save them. Nothing is uploaded to us or any server we control.
The optional one-time PRO unlock is processed entirely by Apple. Purchase validation is handled by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymized purchase identifier and receipt data to restore your entitlement across devices. We never see your payment details, name, or address.
If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report is sent to Sentry. Reports contain technical information only — device model, OS version, app version, and the error stack trace. They do not contain your photos, captions, or any content you created. Aggregate, anonymous usage counters (e.g. "a photo was taken") may also be collected to understand feature adoption. These cannot identify you.
Revoking a permission degrades only the related feature; nothing is deleted.
Photos live in your photo library under your control. Temporary working files (undeveloped negatives) are kept in the app's cache and automatically deleted within about an hour. Crash reports are retained by Sentry per their standard retention.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and collects no data knowingly from them. Since we collect no personal data at all, no special handling is required.
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, and similar), you have rights to access, correct, and delete personal data. Because the app collects no personal data tied to you, most requests resolve to "we don't hold any." For purchase records, contact Apple. For anything else, write to us below.
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
